The Italian Red Cross has launched the national campaign for the promotion and protection of cultural heritage, titled “The Future Has a Long History. Let’s Protect It,” with one of the main objectives being the mapping of all eligible cultural assets for protection across the national territory.

The placement of the Blue Shield on assets identified through collaboration between the Italian Red Cross, municipalities, and cultural entities allows for easy recognition of assets under protection from preventable risks of conflicts.

n collaboration with the ProLoco, four cultural assets in Pontremoli have been identified for the placement of the so-called "Blue Shield":

• Piagnaro Castle
• Cacciaguerra Tower
• Crësa Bridge
• Casotto Bridge
